The beautiful village of Poggio Ferro is approx. 2 .5 hours drive north of Rome.

Well located for day trips to Siena (65km), Montalcino (18km), Pienza (25km) Bagno Vignoni (15km).

Further afield, Firenze/Florence (130km), Pisa (140km), San Gimignano (80km) Chianti (70km), Orvieto (100km).

Basic services and shops are located at Seggiano (3km), including a grocery store with deli and bakery, bar, pizzeria, ATM, chemist.
